Dr. Ghassan Omera, Associate Dentist
I completed my dental degree in January 2004 then moved on to finishing my postgraduate studies in Periodontics in 2007 followed by a Master of Research in 2009 both from Lille 2 University in Lille, France. I worked at Lille 2 University Hospital and Dental school where I had the opportunity to teach periodontics, supervise the practical training and clinical work of the dental school students. I hold the Canadian Board Certificate along with the RCDSO’s license (General Certificate). I’m currently taking part in general practice and periodontal cases.
I obtained a Certificate in Implantology in 2006 from the Department of Medical Training and Research in Stomatology & Maxilo-facial Surgery (Pitié Salpetrière), Paris VI University, & finished the American Academy of Implant Dentistry “AAID Implant MaxiCourse” in 2019, Waterloo, Canada. I’m also a Member at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry – AAID.
My education and experience have prepared me to diagnose and treat periodontal and implants cases. I am passionate about plastic “gum” surgery. I also have over 15 years of experience in the basic practices and hold the Oral Sedation & Nitrous Oxide Sedation Certificate.
Lina Burt, Dental Hygienist
Having had braces as a child and watching my smile transform and my confidence change because of it, I’ve always had an interest in teeth. I decided to become a hygienist after living in Ottawa and really bonding with my hygienist there.
I graduated from Algonquin College in Ottawa in 2007. My favourite part of my job is building relationships with my patients and seeing how their beautiful smiles make them happy. I moved to Toronto from Halifax, NS in July 2017.
I enjoy kickboxing, yoga, exploring different neighbourhoods in Toronto and spending time outside with my dog, Barklee.
Michelle De Souza, Dental Hygienist
My passion and commitment to the world of dentistry evolved from a co-op program I was fortunate enough to be selected for in high school. The experience inspired me to work toward a diploma in Preventive Dental Assisting and my career was in full bloom soon after. An incredibly skilled Dentist allowed me to observe a variety of procedures up close for the next 18 months and it made me hungry for more. I returned to school and received my diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2003.
I joined the Liberty Village team in March 2019. Many years after that life-changing co-op placement, I remain excited by my work and continually search for techniques to improve the services I provide. My primary focus is to create a comfortable experience for all my patients, through realistic goals that suit your lifestyle. I look forward to beginning our journey toward a healthy and vibrant smile you can be proud of.

Reema Mondlor, Dental Receptionist
I moved to this beautiful city of Toronto in 2018 after my wedding. Originally from India, I am a graduate in the field of Biotechnology and practised as a lecturer back in my home country for thirteen years. I am sure a question pops up in your head, “Then why the field of dentistry?” Well, the inspiration is none another than my husband who is a dentist himself.
I have had the pleasure of being a part of Liberty Village Dental family since February 2019. The entire staff is just so amazing, warm – hearted and co-operative. I love the fun atmosphere here at our office.
I am a person who loves to learn new things and the field of dentistry is full of new learning experiences everyday. I love meeting and interacting with all our patients. I try my best to make the patient feel comfortable at our office, schedule appointments for them, help them with the understanding of their dental coverage and suggest them what`s in the best interest of their dentition.
In my spare time, I like travelling, cooking and listening to music. Looking forward to helping you attain the most beautiful smile you have ever had.
We look forward to meeting you in person and we’re always prepared to take care of your dental needs and answer all your questions.
